My “WHY”

Have you ever felt like no matter how much you achieved- the degrees, the job, the lifestyle-it still wasn’t enough to feel truly worthy or fulfilled?

Well, me too.

I grew up as a perfectionist. Always driven, always striving. I set high standards for myself and pushed hard to hit every goal. I earned my Master’s degree, landed a high-paying job straight out of college, and advanced quickly in my career.

But behind the success, my relationships told a different story.

Deep down, I longed for real love and connection — but I kept finding myself in unhealthy relationship patterns. I didn’t understand why I was attracting emotionally unavailable partners or why I couldn’t seem to express my needs without fear or shutdown. I struggled to regulate my emotions, and I coped in ways that didn’t serve me.

It felt like I was constantly at war with myself — wanting a healthy, secure partnership, but stuck in cycles I didn’t know how to break.

The turning point

After my last relationship ended, I found myself alone — a single mom, heartbroken, and asking the same question again: Why does this keep happening? Why can’t I find the healthy, loving relationship I know I deserve?

I felt lost. Unrecognizable to myself.
I had abandoned parts of who I was and accepted behaviors I once swore I never would. I tolerated breadcrumbs, made excuses, and kept hoping things would change — all while losing pieces of myself in the process.

If you’ve ever looked in the mirror and wondered how you got here… I see you. I’ve been there too.

But deep down, even in my lowest moments, I knew something had to shift.


I didn’t just want a healthy relationship — I wanted to become the woman who no longer settled for anything less.

I hit a breaking point — and I knew I had two choices: keep repeating the same patterns…. or finally choose me.

I wanted more — for myself and for my daughter.
So I went on a deep, intentional journey to find myself again. And it became the greatest gift I’ve ever given myself.

I hired a life coach and committed to doing the inner work. I peeled back the layers, uncovered parts of me I had ignored, and gave myself the space to heal. I released the negative thoughts and emotional weight I had been carrying from my past. I forgave. I let go. I reconnected with my truth.

And slowly, I began to love myself in a way I never had before.

That’s when everything changed.
When I stopped chasing love and started becoming the woman I always wanted to be — calm, grounded, confident — I naturally attracted the kind of partner who could meet me there.
